COMPETITION NEWS
From July 2nd til 6th, 24 dancers travelled to beautiful Victoria where they competed in 4 days of gruelling competition at the 2008 Scotdance Canada Championship Series. The largest Highland Dance competition in the world with almost 850 dancers, saw our dancers competing against some of the best dancers from around the world in their age groups. On the Friday, Katie Rattray and Cameron Collins danced in the Canadian Inter-Provincial Championships, representing both the province and the studio very well.
It was a great week of dance, with awards won and many friendships made with dancers from across Canada and abroad. Even if you didn't bring home medals, we hope that you came home with some great experiences, friendships and hopefully a couple of stories from your times in Victoria.
